Domaine du Château de Meursault – Fèves 2019 – Beaune Premier Cru

The nose is fruity, racy, discreetly tight and offers a small concentration, a small intensity as well as straightness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, bright purple plum and slightly cornflower associated licorice, crushed/fresh small red currants, a fine hint of cherry blossom, racy minerality as well as hint of mocha, cardamon, a discreet hint of sense of a place. The mouth is beautifully fruity, elegant, beautifully minerality and offers gourmandize, volume, fullness, fat as well as beautiful brightness of the fruit. The wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis, pulpy/juicy quetsche plum associated with touches of cornflower, juicy/fleshy strawberry, a hint of licorice, cardamon as well as fine hint of graphite, racy minerality, discreet hint of sweet spices / spices. Tannins are precise, racy and discreetly tight.
