Domaine du Château de Meursault – Bourgogne du Château 2018, Pinot Noir – Bourgogne

The nose is fruity and offers aromatic power, a certain richness of the fruit as well as a small gourmand side. There are notes of fleshy / juicy strawberry, juicy / fleshy raspberry and small notes of fleshy purple plum associated with touches of vanilla essence, cornflowers as well as fine hints of fresh berries, lilac, of Cuben pepper and discreet hints of laurel. The palate is beautifully fresh, gourmand and offers juiciness, generosity, roundness, a small fat, a fine acidulous frame as well as a very fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / pulpy strawberry, fleshy / pulpy raspberry and small notes of fresh / pulpy purple plum associated with touches of crushed red berries, hints of vanilla, toast, a fine hint of sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of laurel, toasted almond and a subtle hint of pepper. Tannins are precise and relatively mellow. A subtle varietal hint in the background of the mouth which brings peps. A generous, gourmand, fresh and fruity wine.
