The nose is racy and offers a certain complexity. The wine beneficiates from being decanted. It reveals notes of wild cherry, violet, and more slightly – lily associated with touches of spices, and pepper as well as slight hints of cloves and a discreet hint of fresh tea. The mouth is fresh and offers a nice acidity, energy, a nice racy minerality, and tension as well as a discreetly tight and precise structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy blackberry, juicy/fresh cherry, and more slightly notes of small crunchy red berries associated with touches of fresh flowers as well as hints of blond tobacco, cloves, and a very discreet hint of mocha (on the finish). The tannins are suave and supple. Good length. Nice juiciness and gourgmandize.
