Domaine du Bouscat – Caduce 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

Domaine du Bouscat – Caduce 2021 – Bordeaux Supérieur

The nose is fruity, elegant and reveals a certain concentration, a fine power and a fine grain. There are notes of pulpy boysenberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly of flowers associated with fine notes of violet plum, espelette pepper/spices, a subtle hint of graphite and a discreet touch of saline minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers gourmandize, suavity, a nice substance, purity of fleshiness/definition of fruit, precision, a fine airy side in the balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/pulpy purple plum and more lightly crushed blackcurrant combined with fine notes of blueberry, violet as well as discrete hints of cardamom, sweet blond tobacco, a subtle hint of caramelisation and chocolate. The tannins are relatively supple. Good length. Sapidity on the finish.
