Domaine des Vallettes, Evénement 2020 – Saint – Nicolas de Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers concentration, deliciousness, juicy and ripe fruit, with a touch of sweetness. It expresses notes of black fruits (blackberry, morello cherry,blueberry jam, creamy blackcurrant), red fruits (red currant jelly, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry), as well as a delicate refreshing herbaceous side (wild mint, bud blackcurrant, rosemary, even pine needles) and fine notes of sweet spices (clove, ground cumin), as well as a floral touch (violet, lilac) in the background. The palate offers gourmandise and lots of freshness. It expresses chiseled flavours of tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, fresh red currant), as well as notes of black fruits (fresh blackcurrant,blueberry), flowers (violet, cornflower, lily) and a fine spicy structure at the end of the palate (ground cumin, cloves). The tannins have a fine and silky texture. The finish expresses fruity roundness balanced by a beautiful salivating acidity.
