The nose is fruity, aromatic, gourmand and offers a small richness as well as elegance. It reveals notes of vanilla, fleshy blackberry and fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of redcurrants, raspberry, slight hints of olive tree / laurel, pepper, garrigue as well as discreet toasted hints, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of thyme. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, a good definition, a fine acid frame, a fine juiciness as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy raspberry, ripe / juicy redcurrants and small notes of cherry associated with small touches of blackberry, cassis, discreet hints of liquorice, cocoa / toasted oak, garrigue, olive, a very discreet hint of thyme as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and tea. Tannins are a bit firm.
