The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a spicy side. It reveals notes of black blackberry, juicy cassis, small notes of grey pepper associated with small touches of thyme, lily as well as hints of dry local grove. The palate is fruity, racy and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, suavity, tension, energy/dynamism, gourmandize, power, deepness as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidulous cassis, crushed wild blackberry, small notes of black berries, lily, thyme flowers, rosemary, hints of garrigue, a saline minerality as well as small hints of black chocolate, caramelization, a subtle hint of black olive and tobacco. Tannins are precise and well-built. Good length and persistence. A very discreet chew in the finish/persistence.
