The nose is beautifully complex, slightly tight, tense and offers a fine and tense grain. There are notes of blackberry, violet, cubeb pepper and small notes of infusion associated with touches of wild cherry, lilac and discreet hints of star anise and spices. The mouth is beautifully juicy, fresh, mineral and offers precision, tension, elegance and finesse, a certain small aerial side in its tension/ power. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, pulpy/ juicy purple plum and small notes of cornflower, lily, pulpy blueberry as well as crushed strawberry hints, liquorice, toast and chocolate. Beautiful gourmand and well defined wine. A slight hint of chocolate.
