The nose is fruity, fresh, racy and offers a fine power as well as a certain deepness. It reveals notes of small wild red berries, rose and small notes of blackberry associated with small touches of violet, small crushed black fruits as well as hints of camphor, liquorice, graphite and a discreet hint of grey pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, mineral and offers roundness, ampleness, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, silkiness and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy raspberry, small notes crushed cassis associated with touches of rose, violet, liquorice, tonka bean, a subtle hint of dry tobacco and an imperceptible hint of rose. Tannins are finely firm. Good length.
