The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is reserved and requires aeration. It then expresses notes of small black and red fruits (blueberry, raspberry, red currant, strawberry, red cherry, a touch of blackcurrant), flowers (violet, lily, rose petals), as well as a fine touch of liquorice, white pepper and cumin. The palate is juicy, gourmand, even with a slight sweetness in the flavors. It expresses notes of crushed strawberry, red cherry jam, raspberry coulis, ripe red currant, as well as notes of licorice, dried mint, violet, licorice and cumin in the background. The tannins are firm, grippy in the mid-palate, but fine and balanced by a salivating acidity. The finish is quite persistent, tasty and finely spicy, with a touch of wild blackberry in the background. Structure and gourmandise.
