The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with purplish reflections. The nose is aromatic, peppery at first, then floral: we first find notes of peony, violet, as well as small red berries (cranberries, elderberry), red cherry, Morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry crushed, blackcurrant with a fine touch of garrigue, cinnamon and dried herbs (bay leaf, dried mint, fresh licorice stick). In the mouth, there is structure and roundness. The tannins are young, grippy, enveloped in a concentrated and fresh fruity substance. The wine expresses flavors of ripe black fruit (morello cherry, black plum, blackberry), red cherry, crushed strawberry, as well as delicate spicy notes of white pepper and licorice, complemented by a floral touch of violet. The finish is quite persistent, fruity, tangy with powerful tannins, slightly drying. Nice structure and good balance overall.
