The nose is elegant, deep and offers richness and elegance. There are notes of yellow plums, cape gooseberry and slightly menthol with hints of local biotop, zan and hints of dried citrus and a subtle hint of verbena/fresh pepper. The palate is elegant, balanced, deep, gourmet, salivating and offers juiciness, salinity as well as a nice, relatively unctuous texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cape gooseberry, pulpy yellow apple and, more slightly, white flowers, combined with a touch of orange blossom, verbena and a subtle hint of dried citrus fruit, a discreet touch of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of bay leaf. Nice persistence.
