The nose is aromatic, quite elegant and slightly gourmand. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed plum and slight notes of crushed cassis, wild strawberry associated with discreet hints of spices as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper and an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, racy, well-balanced, silky, gourmand and offers a slight fleshy, suavity as well as fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, blackberry and slight notes of blueberry, fleshy strawberry associated with a discreet hint of cherry, flowers as well as discreet toasted hints and a discreet hint of dark chocolate/mocha on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine and very slightly dry.
