The nose is fruity and offers a certain concentration as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of crème de cassis, crème de cherry and more slightly crushed currants associated with touches of black olive, rosemary as well as fine hints of violet, a hint of black tea and a subtle hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine creaminess, gourmandize, a little tension, precision, freshness as well as a nice acidity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy cassis and more slightly crushed currants associated with touches of liquorice, black olive, sage as well as fine hints of eucalyptus / olive tree, toasted hints and a hint of nutmeg. Tannins are precise and well developed. Good length.
