Domaine de la Préceptorie – Terres Nouvelles 2015 – Côtes du Roussillon

The nose is aromatic, fresh, a bit powerful and offers gourmandise. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blueberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a hint of Bigarreau cherry, black olive as well as an imperceptible touch of thyme (in the background), tonka bean and an imperceptible spices sweet / toasted touch. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a small mineral frame, a beautiful juiciness, fat, unctuosity, straightness, a small tension, a fine freshness, power, gourmandise, a small roundness, a beautiful ripe fruit as well as richness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of redcurrant combined with hints of black cherry, slight touches of sweet spices, ripe almond as well as a very discreet toasted hint, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of caramelization. Tannins are supple.
