On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, black cherry and small notes of redcurrant combined with hints of black cherry, slight touches of sweet spices, ripe almond as well as a very discreet toasted hint, chocolate and an imperceptible touch of caramelization. Tannins are supple.
