Domaine de la Mordorée – La Reine des Bois 2017 – Tavel

The nose is fruity, fresh, (very) slightly powerful and offers fleshiness. It reveals notes of fleshy / fresh brugnon and vine peach combined with small notes of quenette, ripe redcurrants, fresh cherries as well as discreet hints of fresh lemon and flowers. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandise, fleshiness, a beautiful precision, a beautiful fat, a small freshness, a good structure, finesse as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed Brugnon, quenette and small notes of passion fruit, litchi associated with touches of lemon, apple, raspberry candy as well as slight hints of racy minerality and discreet hins of redcurrants. Very discreet chews on persistence. A gastronomic rosé!
