The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers subtlety, delicacy and complexity. There are notes of fresh fruit, as well as integrated tertiary notes. The nose expresses in particular notes of crushed blackcurrant, dried morello cherry, fresh wild strawberry, blueberry and wild raspberry, complemented by delicate notes of undergrowth (or even slightly – mushrooms), black tea leaf, tobacco, dried peony, dried rosé, violet, cornflower. We also find spiciness in the background: notes of licorice, ground cumin and nutmeg, as well as a very slight note of toast and dried mint. On the palate, the wine expresses controlled power, a warm side of alcohol and notes of very ripe fresh fruit, refreshed by good bitterness and salivating acidity. We find the flavors of crushed blackcurrant, a slight tannic side of wild plum, a touch of morello cherry jam, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, combined with notes of undergrowth, tobacco, dried mint, dried rose petals, violet, ground cumin and nutmeg. The finish is persistent, gourmand with a good bitterness. The tannins are melted and soft.
