The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a small aerial side, power, a beautiful finesse of the grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cooked wild blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of cornflower, violet associated with touches of small black berries, very ripe Gariguette strawberry associated with fine touches of thyme, dry local copse (sense of the place) as well as fine hints of ripe blueberry and discreet hints of cardamom/liquorice. The palate is elegant, gourmandize and offers a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a fine creaminess (full of finesse), a beautiful balance, an aerial side, a beautiful finesse of the guideline, power (full of control/finesse), a fine acidulous frame as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, very ripe/pulpy Gariguette strawberry, small notes of blueberry associated with small touches of violet, sense of the place, hints of juicy cherry as well as fine hints of liquorice, chocolate, cardamom, a subtle hint of toasted, candied redcurrant and an imperceptible hint of thyme flowers. Good length. Tannins are elegant and finely chewy. Notes of chocolate, hazelnut/crushed almond and a fine sapidity on the finish/persistence.
