The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is restrained initially, later opening up with nuances of red cherries, a touch of cranberries and forest raspberries, delicate notes of bell pepper and black currant leaf, an earthy touch. The palate is juicy and vivid, with crisp acidity, elegant body and chalky, slightly grippy tannins. Notes of sour red cherries combine with herbaceous nuances of tomato leaf, black pepper and pungent spices. Nice freshness and sapidity.
