The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration / richness. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed wild blackberry, cassis bud and crushed red fruits combined with slight touches of tea, spices (pepper, cinnamon …) as well as a very discreet touch of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, fat, finesse as well as good juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, crushed / juicy cassis and slight notes of of wild strawberry, fleshy raspberry associated with slight / discreet touches of liquorice, wood/vanilla as well as a very discreet touch of chocolate. Tannins are a bit dry. Good length. The finish is very slightly drying.
