The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose offers a beautiful fruity and spicy expression. It reveals notes of juicy, fresh and candied red and black fruits (black plum, blackberry, blackcurrant, crème de cassis, raspberry coulis, fresh morello cherry and jam, red plum, cherry juice), floral freshness and herbaceous hints (peppermint, eucalyptus, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, violet, peony). On the palate, there is also freshness and gourmandise: flavors of red and black fruits – black plum, red plum, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, strawberry, as well as herbs and spices – cut rosemary, fresh thyme, liquorice, white pepper, roast meat. The tannins have tension, good structure and fine grain. The finish is persistent, tangy, on juicy cherries and has a light touch of smoke.
