The nose is fruity and offers power as well as gourmandise. It reveals notes of cassis, cherry and wild berries associated with discreet touches of blueberry, spices, racy minerality and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is mineral, well-balanced, slightly strict and offers juiciness as well as a good structure. The palate is marked by Cabernet. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, juicy redcurrant and cherry associated with discreet touches of blackberry and subtle hints of liquorice and a discreet hint of caramelized oak (in the background). Tannins are fine, a bit chewy and medium grain.
