The nose is elegant, racy and offers gourmandize and a fine complexity. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of toasted bread associated with fine touches of cocoa, juicy violet plum, toasted as well as discreet hints of spices, pepper, incense and an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fresh, fruity, racy and offers a good finesse of the grain, tension as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, candied/fresh blackberry and small notes of fresh raspberry associated with fine touches of fresh blueberry, liquorice, toasted as well as hints of toasted bread and cocoa. Tannins are elegant. Good length and persistence.
