The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers intensity as well as a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, crushed blackberry, Sichuan pepper and bigarreau cherry associated with small touches of crushed raspberry, redcurrant acidulous candy as well as hints of gray pepper, thyme and imperceptible hint of rosemary. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, a bit tight and offers a good definition, juiciness, a beautiful precision, a small straightness, a small jutosity, an acidulous frame, a small straightness as well as a small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry, blueberries and small notes of crushed raspberry, ripe red berries associated with small touches of spices, Sichuan pepper, violet as well as hints of scrubland and gray pepper. Good length. Tannins are mellow / a bit firm. There is a hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
