The nose is aromatic and offers concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of blackberry, sweet spices and small notes of fleshy strawberries associated with touches of cherry, cassis, pepper as well as discreet hints of nutmeg, cloves and caramelization. The palate is fruity, well balanced, very slightly tight and offers an acidulous structure, juiciness, tension, finesse and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, bright red berries and small notes of juicy blackberry associated with touches of bright cassis as well as fine hints of vanilla, chocolate and toasted hazelnut. Tannins are a bit firm. Presence of a very discreet hint of coffee, cherry stone and caramelization on the persistence.
