Domaine Clos Saint Jean – En Charron 2019 – Santenay

The nose is fruity, racyand offers elegance, a certain richness as well as a small stretched side. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, raspberry and small notes of pulpy plum associated with touch of cornflower, tonka beans, crushed sour cherry/red fruits as well as fine hint of racy minerality, a discreet hint of star anise and pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, an acidulous frame, gourmandize, a beautiful juicy/fleshy fruit as well as a good definition. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/fleshy cherries, blueberry and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of crushed raspberry as well as toasted hints/vanilla. Good Length. Tannins are precise and very discreetly powdery.
