Domaine Chiroulet – Vent d’Hiver 2017 – Côtes de Gascogne IGP

The nose is elegant, relatively aromatic and offers a fin grain, a small power as well as freshness. It reveals notes of crystallized Mirabelle, candied quince, small notes of crystallized lemon associated with touches of candied vine peach as well as fine hints of lychee, mango and a very discreet hint of spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, freshness, gourmandize as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain, a fresh frame and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crystallized quince, crushed Mirabelle, small notes of candied lemon associated with touches of candied peach as well as hints of mango, a subtle hint of honey, sweet spices and fresh hazelnut. Good length.
