Domaine Chiroulet – Floc de Gascogne

Domaine Chiroulet – Floc de Gascogne

(Red) The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers power as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of ripe/candied strawberry and small notes of kirsch cherry associated with very fine touches of cassis, flowers (cherry, a hint of fresh violet) as well as very fine hints of almond and an imperceptible hint of coffee/cocoa on the finish. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, suavity/fat, a fine tension as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of kirsch cherry, almond, cocoa as well as very discreet hints of flowers and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper (in the background). Good length and persistence. A fine hint of alcohol on the first and second caudalie then a fine note of candied/kirsch red fruits and almond until the 4th/5thcaudalie.
