The nose is powerful, slightly tight and offers a fine richness, a fine deepness as well as a fine and racy grain. It reveals notes of dry orange, dry flowers and small notes of pot-pourri associated with very fine touches of peach, violet as well as fine hints of rancio, cigar box/mild tobacco, grilled almond, very discreet hints of spices, grilled and a subtle hint of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, a fine juicy/acidulous frame, precision as well as tension. On the palate this Armagnac expresses notes of quince, apricot in syrup, peach in syrup and small notes of jam associated with fine hints of rancio, almond as well as very discreet hints of spices and a subtle hint of torrefaction.A good length and persistence.
