Domaine Chevrot – La Fussière 2016 – Marange 1er Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and small red berries associated with discreet hints of plum, flowers, Sichuan pepper and discreet toasted hints. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a fine suavity, a small fat, a fine tension, finesse as well as a fine acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of red berries associated with discreet touches of cherry, a discreet hint of flowers as well as a subtle toasted touch, vanilla and chocolate. Tannins are fine and very discreetly firm. Good length. The finish is slightly gourmande.
