Domaine Chatelain – Prestige 2014 – Pouilly-Fumé

The nose is fruity and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of apple, flowers and small notes of ripe citrus associated with touches of nutmeg as well as an imperceptible hint of ripe almond and pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juicy frame, a beautiful definition, gourmandize, a beautiful suavity as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, juicy/fleshy flat peach and small notes of juicy pear associated with fine touches of apple, quince as well as very discreet hints of bee wax and nutmeg. There is a fine hint of almond on the finish (brings chews). Beautiful persistence.
