Domaine Charles Audoin – Le Rozier 2016 – Fixin

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine power/richness. It reveals notes of black cherry, small red berries and small notes of black plum, cornflower associated with a touch of rose, blueberry as well as fine hints of chocolate, liquorice stick and very discreet hints of black tea. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cherry, juicy/crunchy black plum and small notes of small red berries associated with fine touches of violet, rose as well as fine hints of tonka bean, spices and toasted. Tannins are elegant. Good length.
