Domaine Carrette – Rochevat 2015 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is aromatic, fruity and fine. It reveals toasted notes, butter and white fruits associated with discreet hints of flowers (in the background) as well as a hint of ripe mirabelle. The palate is fruity, gourmand, well-balanced, aerial and offers a very beautiful freshness, unctuosity, a beautiful definition, a beautiful mineral frame as well as a beautiful fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of ripe white fruits (ripe Williams pear, ripe/crushed brugnon) and slight notes of crushed mirabelle associated with a discreet toasted hint, butter as well as a very discreet hint of limestone (in the background). There is a hint of vanilla/toasted hint/butter on the persistence (brings suavity and gourmandise).
