Domaine Bader-Mimeur, Château de Chassagne-Montrachet 2020 – Chassagne- Montrachet

The nose is fresh and racy, revealing good definition and a precise grain. There are notes of quince, crushed mirabelle plum and, more lightly, bright yellow berries, combined with delicate hints of flowers, ripe medlar and subtle hints of gunflint and almost toast. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers delicacy, accuracy, roundness, volume, good definition, fine unctuousness, gourmandize, depth, finesse, a nice freshness, some richness and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy, juicy apple, quince and, more lightly, crushed yellow berries, combined with hints of medlar, toasted almond, racy minerality and a subtle hint of beeswax, toast and fresh cardamom (in the background).
