Domaine Andron 2016 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity, well-built and offers a fine juiciness as well as a very fine power. It reveals notes of juicy berries, juicy blackberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with small touches of flowers, wild strawberry as well as hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, gourmandize, juiciness as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild raspberry, crunchy blackberry and small notes of violet/flowers associated with touches of chocolate, fleshy strawberry, sweet spices, cardamom a well as a very discreet hint of coffee (in the background). Tannins are well-built. A beautiful wine!
