The nose is fruity, structured and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries and small notes of cornflowers / iris associated with touches of black cherry as well as discreet hints of cassis bud and sweet spices / gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers tension, a small straightness, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of plum, cassis, flowers (iris, cornflowers) as well as discreet hints of liquorice, tobacco, a very discreet hint of cassis bud and sweet spices (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
