On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of plum, cassis, flowers (iris, cornflowers) as well as discreet hints of liquorice, tobacco, a very discreet hint of cassis bud and sweet spices (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
