Domaine Alain Jeanniard – Champ Pussuet 2018 – Ladoix

The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a fine crunchiness. There are notes of fleshy cherry, raspberry and small notes of strawberry associated with touches of pulpy / ripe cassis, hints of zan, cherry blossoms, hints of spices as well as a very discreet hint of minerality, tonka bean and very discreet hints of toasted / vanilla. The palate is fruity, racy and offers juiciness, gourmandize, fat, pulpy side, a good definition as well as a fine and very discreetly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry, Quetsche plum and small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of crushed strawberry, lily, lilac, racy minerality, cherry blossoms as well as toasted hints, cardamom, sweet spices, dark chocolate / cocoa and a very discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are very finely mellow. Presence of a very discreet hint of vanilla on the finish / persistence.
