The nose is spicy. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, nutmeg and more slightly of clove associated with touches of juicy cassis, local scrubland as well as a fine hint bay laurel, olive tree, chalk / terroir / dry soil and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a little fat, a nice freshness, minerality, a fine tension as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / pulpy cherry, fleshy / pulpy strawberry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of blueberry, cherry blossoms, violet, local scrubland as well as fine hints of thyme, chocolate and lavender (in the background). Presence of a very discreet hint of dry soil / terroir. Tannins are fine and finely dusty. Good length.
