This Single Malt has got a nice clear cognac, amber color. It is shiny and limpid. This Single Malt is discreet at first with notes of white fruits such as pear (William pear and Nashi pear) and lychee. There are also some notes of cherry stone and whipped cream. A smoky aspect emerges, delicate, with woody as well as grains. There is a nice tangy frame which brings freshness as well as some floral notes such as freesia. The palate is suave, round on the attack with still very present notes of pear but also of mirabelle plum and flowers (freesia). There is a hint of salt that develops towards a more mineral and smokier finish. There are also some sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon with touches of cocoa.
