Delpech Fougerat – Excellence – Cognac

The nose is elegant, gourmand, well-built and offers a slight richness, a small dynamism as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of candied plum, quince, kumquat and slight notes of white fruits combined with small notes of cedarwood, rancio as well as a subtle hint of sandalwood, pâtisseries / caramelization and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fine, elegant, fruity, fleshy, gourmand and offers unctuosity, precision as well as a beautiful definition. In the mouth this Cognac expresses notes of caramelized apple, quince and slight notes of kumquat, caramelized pear associated with small notes of marmalade, caramelization / nougatine as well as subtle hints of spices and an imperceptible touch of tea (in the background). Good length and persistence. There is a touch of blond tobacco on the persistence. The aftertaste is slightly powerful.
