(Bottled in November 2019) The nose is powerful, structured, racy and offers elegance as well as fine complexity. It reveals notes of caramelized orange zest, quince and small notes of Timut pepper associated with small touches of caramelization, stewed white fruit, hints of rancio, dried citrus fruits as well as slight hints of sweet spices and a discreet nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a juicy / slightly acidulous frame, a good definition, beautiful precision, tension, fine grain as well as suavity/gourmandize. On the palate, this Armagnac expresses notes of candied lemon, caramelized tangerine and small notes of crushed apple / nugget associated with a subtle hint of Zante currant, crushed pear, caramelization and a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco. Good length.
