Del Dotto – Zinfandel 2014 – Napa Valley

The nose reveals notes of crushed cassis, dried blueberry and touches of liquorice combined with subtle touches of fresh wild strawberries, spices as well as slight hints of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, silky and offers gourmandise, a slight suavity, a slight tension as well as an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy wild strawberries, juicy fleshy blackberry and slight notes of cassis combined with a hint of juicy wild berries as well as subtle touches of liquorice, spices and a subtle hints of spices. Good length.
