The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight acid frame, a slight racy minerality, gourmandise, a good volume, a very slight suavity as well as silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe plum, fleshy cassis, cherry, plum, blackberry and slight notes of dried raspberry combined with slight touches of small wild berries, discreet touches of sweet spices, very slight toasted touches as well as discreet touches of chocolate and tobacco. Good persistence. The persistence is slightly powerful.
