The nose is fruity, fine and concentrated. It reveals notes of black cherry, cassis and wild berries associated with woody touches, licorice as well as subtle touches of spices. The palate is fruty, juicy, mineral, elegant, nicely balanced and offers a beautiful freshness, tension, a nice structure, suavity as well as a beautiful gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy black cherry and touches of fleshy/juicy raspberry, juicy/fleshy Quetsche plum associated with hints of toasted oak as well as a subtle hint of mocha, spices and a discreet hint of caramelization.
