Dartiglongue 1987 – Bas-Armagnac

Dartiglongue 1987 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is aromatic, powerful, fine and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals slight notes of orange, candied orange zests and dried grape associated with slight notes of sandal wood, spices as well as a discreet hint of rancio, a oak hint, vanilla and a very discreet hint of almond. Feel free to aerate it in the glass. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly fleshy and offers freshness, a slight acid frame, fat, a beautiful suavity, finesse, a fine power, subtility as well as gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of candied orange, a discreet hint of vanilla as well as a very discreet oaky hint, roasting and a very discreet hint of pepper (in the background). Beautiful persistence and nice balance.
