Dartigalongue 1984 – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, gourmand as well as relatively fine and relatively rich. It reveals fine notes of candied fruit and a touch of rancio associated with a fine touch of caramel with salted butter and a thin notes of dried fruits (hazelnut, almond) and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, gourmande, suave and offers a beautiful matter, a small freshness and a fruity / acid frame. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of crystallized mandarin and a touch of candied citrus (orange, lemon) associated with a hint of peach in syrup, a discreet touch of rancio as well as a few discreet / delicate woody notes. Good length.
