Dartigalongue 1979 Selection – Bas-Armagnac

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a small power as well as a small tension. It reveals notes of crushed nectarine, quince and small notes of crushed mirabelle plum associated with fine touches of pepper, apple, slight toasted hints as well as a very discreet hint of cinnamon and a subtle hint of dried tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly acidulous and offers tension, precision, fine grain, finesse as well as a juicy / mineral frame and elegance. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of caramelized apple, quince and small notes of crushed nectarine associated with fine touches of quenette, caramelized berries as well as hints of blond tobacco, caramelization, chocolate and a subtle hint cinnamon / coffee. Good length.
