Dartigalongue 1967 – Bas-Armagnac

Dartigalongue 1967 – Bas-Armagnac

(43%) The nose is powerful, fine and offers delicacy in its power, a subtle aerial side as well as a very fine and discreetly tight grain. There are notes of baked apple / tarte tatin, tobacco and small notes of quince associated with small touches of dried mandarin, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of pepper and an almost peaty hint (in the background). The palate is well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, elegance, power, tension, a small fat, gourmandize as well as a beautiful matter. On the palate, this Armagnac expresses notes of candied nectarine, caramel apple and small notes of quince associated with touches of tarte tatin, rancio, caramelization, tobacco as well as a hint of peat and a subtle hint of vanilla cream (in the background). Good length. Power on the finish / persistence.
